Collect the details needed to price the job

The hosted form asks for the customer's name, phone number, email address and job enquiry. You can also collect an approximate area when it is relevant and allow up to five optional photos. That gives you useful context before you call back or visit the site.

You control the heading, introduction, enquiry prompt, area label, button text and success message. Colours, corner radius, input height and text size can also be adjusted in QuickPrice. Save a change once and every connected embed receives the new configuration.

From new enquiry to a quote in the same app

A valid submission appears immediately under Website leads with a New status. QuickPrice queues a push notification and an email containing the customer and enquiry details, so the request does not sit unnoticed in a website inbox.

Accepting the lead matches the customer to an existing client by email or creates a new client record. Review & create quote then preloads the contact details, enquiry, area and available photos. Add anything learned on the phone or during a site visit, generate the draft, and check every line, rate, GST treatment and total before sending it.

Install it on WordPress, EmdashCMS or almost any website

The JavaScript widget is the simplest option for most websites. It adjusts its own height and can match the surrounding font. An iframe is available for builders that block external scripts.

WordPress users can install the QuickPrice Leads plugin and use a Gutenberg block or shortcode. The plugin can also forward Contact Form 7 and Forminator submissions. EmdashCMS sites get a native Portable Text block through the @quickprice/emdash-leads package.

Follow the website lead setup documentation, or open a live example form before installing your own.

Keep the form connected to the right account

Each form uses a public ID beginning with qpl_. It identifies the destination account but does not grant access to leads, clients, quotes or private account data. Allowed-domain controls can restrict which websites are permitted to submit the form.

The public form ID belongs in website code. Passwords, access tokens and private API credentials do not. If an ID is copied to an unauthorised site, replace it in QuickPrice and update the approved embeds.

A quote request is not an appointment booking

QuickPrice website leads collect the scope and start a quote. They do not let a customer reserve a time in your diary, dispatch a tradie or create a confirmed job automatically. Businesses that need self-service appointment slots still need scheduling or booking software.

QuickPrice also does not send an unchecked AI price straight to the customer. The generated quote is a starting point. You remain responsible for confirming the work, quantities, exclusions and final price.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers on accuracy, pricing, your data, and how the feature works.

Which websites can use a QuickPrice lead form?

Almost any website that allows an external JavaScript widget or an iframe. QuickPrice also provides dedicated integrations for WordPress and EmdashCMS.

Can I connect an existing WordPress form?

Yes. The QuickPrice Leads plugin can forward successful Contact Form 7 and Forminator submissions. It also provides its own Gutenberg block and shortcode.

How am I notified about a new website lead?

The lead appears immediately in QuickPrice with a New status. QuickPrice can also send a push notification and an email containing the customer and enquiry details.

Can customers upload job photos?

Yes. The QuickPrice form accepts up to five optional JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos, with a maximum size of 3 MB per image. Some third-party form connectors have their own limits.

Does QuickPrice automatically send a quote after submission?

No. The enquiry and available photos are preloaded into the quote flow. You add missing context, generate the draft, and remain responsible for reviewing the scope and final price before sending it.

Is the public form ID a private API key?

No. The public ID routes submissions to the correct account but cannot be used to access leads, clients, quotes or account data. Never put a password or private token in website code.

Does the lead form include online appointment booking?

No. It collects a quote request and starts the lead-to-quote workflow. It does not let customers reserve diary slots or dispatch staff.
