Quoting app for
Australian painters.

You've walked the rooms, checked surface condition, noted the ceiling heights. Instead of pricing it up at home tonight, describe the job on your phone, send a branded quote to the customer, and let them accept from their browser before they've rung anyone else.

Built for Australian tradies

The problem

Two-day quote turnaround loses the job

Painters lose work because the priced quote arrives 48 hours after the visit. Price walls, ceilings, and prep from your phone before you've packed the brushes away.

Paint coverage is hard to eyeball

Litres per coat, per wall, per room. Miss the prep on a flaky weatherboard wall and you're buying paint you didn't quote for.

Prep work makes or breaks the quote

Filling, gap sealing, sanding, stain-blocking: the real labour hides in prep. Quote a flat rate per m² and you're guessing at the biggest variable in the job.

The customer's going to paint it themselves if you're not quick

Domestic painting is price-sensitive. Customers compare three quotes off hipages or DIY it with a trip to Bunnings. Slow quotes lose both ways.

How it works

Quote done before
you're back at the van.

Open the app, say what needs doing, hit send. Most quotes are with the customer in about a minute.

01

Talk through the job

Type it, dictate a voice note, snap up to 5 photos, or mix all three. No forms. Just say what needs doing.

02

Get an itemised quote back

Line items in plain English, materials and labour priced on Australian data for your area, GST added. A proper quote, not a rough estimate.

03

Send it. They accept in the browser.

Tweak anything you want, then email a branded PDF. They open it on their phone and accept from there. Your app pings the second they do.

In the app

Every painter quote, in one place.

Pipeline, quotes and follow-ups, exactly as they look in the QuickPrice app on your phone.

Features

What's in it for painters

A native phone app for quoting on-site. Same data on the web dashboard when you're back at the desk.

Knows Australian paint and materials costs

Dulux, Taubmans, Haymes trade prices. Primers, undercoats, filler, gap sealant, sugar soap, masking. Describe rooms and surface conditions and the materials list prices itself.

Prices by room or by m²

Full repaint by room (walls, ceiling, trim) or priced per m² for larger jobs. Both formats supported. Choose what suits the customer.

Wallpaper line items handled properly

Rolls calculated from wall dimensions and pattern repeat, lining paper priced separately, stripping and prep time included. Hang-only or supply-and-hang.

Branded PDF with paint spec on every quote

Colour codes, paint brand and sheen level, number of coats. The customer sees exactly what they're getting. No "I assumed you'd use low sheen" conversations.

Testimonial

What tradespeople say

I quote the prep hours separately now. Customers actually appreciate the transparency, they can see why a weatherboard that needs sanding back costs more than one that doesn't. Three more jobs booked this month than usual.

FAQ

Things people ask

Quick answers on accuracy, pricing, your data, and what happens after you send a quote.

How does the painting estimating software handle paint coverage?

Describe room dimensions, surface condition, and number of coats. The app estimates litres needed by paint type and applies your margin. Adjust in the review step if you know your suppliers' coverage differs.

Can I quote interior and exterior together?

Yes. Break the job into interior and exterior sections in one quote. The app prices each by surface and applies appropriate labour rates (external work usually carries a premium).

Does it handle wallpaper calculations?

Yes. Give wall dimensions and paper specification (width, pattern repeat). The app calculates rolls needed including wastage, plus lining paper and hanging labour. Supply-and-hang or hang-only supported.

What about access equipment for two-storey homes?

Add a scaffold or ladder-access allowance as a line item. You can also price access equipment separately or absorb it into your rate, both are supported.

Can I itemise prep work separately?

Yes, and most painters should. Line-item sanding, filling, gap sealing, and stain-blocking. Customers accept higher prices when they see the work, not just a lump sum.

Does my ABN appear on the quote?

Yes. Add your ABN and business details during setup. Every quote and tax invoice PDF carries your branding, ABN, GST breakdown, and payment terms.
